No appointment, payment or patient contract can currently be made through this website. Final terms will be presented for active acceptance and provided in a durable copy.
1. Parties and eligibility
The final terms will identify the contracting organisation, service address and responsibilities of the clinic, laboratory and clinician. The planned service is for adults aged 18 and over, subject to final suitability and safety criteria.
2. What is ordered
Before payment, the client will see the exact panel, analytes, collection method, clinic, laboratory pathway, total price, preparation, expected turnaround, result route and any separately priced review.
3. Booking, payment and contract formation
The final journey will state when the order is an offer, when AK-LABS accepts it, how confirmation is issued, which payment methods apply and how a durable copy of the agreed terms is supplied.
4. Consent and collection
Identity, capacity, consent, preparation and relevant collection information will be checked before venepuncture. A client may withdraw consent before collection, subject to fair treatment of costs already properly incurred and statutory rights.
5. Samples and laboratory pathway
The terms will explain labelling, transport, analysis, storage where applicable, insufficient or unsuitable samples, repeat work, unavailable analytes, material delays and when recollection or refund is offered.
6. Results and escalation
The secure release method, identity checks and significant or critical-result contact process will be stated. Results do not by themselves provide a diagnosis, and AK-LABS does not replace emergency, GP or specialist care.
7. Optional clinician-led review
The separate £99 review will identify the clinician, registration, format, duration, scope, limitations, documentation and what is not included, including any treatment or prescribing service.
8. Changes, cancellations and refunds
The final contract will cover the online cooling-off period, express requests for early performance, rescheduling, no-shows, clinic cancellation, refunds and remedies. See complaints, cancellations and refunds.
9. Care, liability and complaints
Services will be provided with reasonable care and skill. Nothing will restrict liability or statutory rights where that would be unlawful. The complaint route, response standards and applicable external escalation will be named.
10. Privacy, accessibility and governing law
The final terms will link the complete clinical privacy notice, explain reasonable adjustments and identify the law and courts that apply while preserving mandatory consumer protections.
